Molson Coors | 'The Bottle of Ontario'

Molson Coors is a big sponsor of the NHL – fueling fan passion and actual on-ice play. During the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Zeno Group Canada was on the roster of agencies tapped to react to any cultural rumblings around the game.

Round 1 of the playoffs and Toronto was facing Ottawa. I asked our Creative Department to think about how the early 2000’s ‘Battle of Ontario’ was on again (I’m old – I remember it). This started as a social post but quickly gained traction with fans, Molson salespeople, and vendors. It became ‘the’ rink board for Molson during the 6 game series, and was held up by Molson as the kind of work all their partner agencies should aspire to.

We did other work for them for the playoffs (Client said Zeno was ‘Killing it!!!’) but this was certainly the most successful.
