CLIENT: “We want to see a lot of goats. We feel it’s our signature thing.”
With that in mind, I was enlisted by BleuBlancRouge in Toronto to find an idea that would move a lot of baby goats as gifts during the holiday season. They’re used by families in emerging nations for wool, milk, and making other goats for their communities. We were assured they don’t eat them, but y’know, out of our hands.
Armed with a play on the double meaning of the word ‘kid’, we went in optimistic about the logistics but not knowing how difficult it was to get a group of goats to stand still. They don’t ‘stay’ like dogs, that’s for sure.
On shoot day, I did double duty as a baby goat wrangler.
