Fun Fact: I was the creator of the tagline ‘Avioners Can Do That’. And I found out on a moving walkway in the Pearson Airport.

Avion, the rewards program for RBC and Visa, needed a new tagline. Something to highlight the ease of collecting, and flexibility of redemption. In both of these areas, they were superior to their competitors but their positioning didn’t show it.

One of the taglines and campaigns I wrote during my freelance stint? ‘Avioners Can Do That’. Freedom. Leadership. Flexibility.

Months later, while embarking on my own trip, I saw the airport plastered with my work. “Hey, they bought it!”.

The line and positioning are still used today. More recently, I returned to BBDO and created this radio campaign.
