Live, Fall 2024 – In late 2023, I was covering a Maternity Leave at McCann Canada (Hi, Roya Rutledge!). One of the first projects? Think of a mechanism to give away Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors tickets, utilizing people’s Mastercards in some way. Preferably not just the usual ‘giveaway on the street / in a bar’. Our idea? Scorecards. Match the numbers in your Mastercard with that night’s team score and you could enter to win. Entrants have to have a Mastercard to win, and they have to be engaged nightly so we rewarded the truly devoted fans. Win, win. The idea went live for the 2024/2025 season for both teams.
